Question Does this seem right, Insurance Quote

I think it is kinda cheap, i was paying 190mo for the z28 and my 08 GMC sierra,
How is it that i can get a quote on a challenger and the z28 for 120mo.
By the way I'm 21 and i have a clean record !

Sounds about right actually. I'm older, have multiple cars and a home so I'll be paying about $85 a month

i just saved a bunch of money by switching my insurance to geico
He told me that the quote would be dead on with a camaro2ss with msrp of 37 and change, i went ahead and switched from nationwide saving me 250/yr on a 98 z28

Sure you don't work for Geico? That was spot-on for one of their more serious ads... statistics and all!

On order is a 1SS/ RS IBM with Black Rally Stripes, Beige Interior, manual transmission and a sunroof! Oh, and a stereo upgrade too! Ordered from CamaroScotty in WI. How will I get my baby home?

Well, you do live in North Carolina. Would be expected that your insurance is a little lower than average. Location plays a large role.

Good luck getting any service with Geico. North Carolina's agents are notoriously bad.

A friend of mine was in a small wreak a few years ago. The damage was small (just a few hundred dollars) but it took Geico 6 months to approve for him to get his car fixed at one of the approved repair shops. When the repair shop sent in the estimation, they refused to pay saying that the wreak never happened and was a figment of his imagination. He had to sue Geico in order to get his car fixed.

I prefer and have another company, but it may have to do with your truck being 4WD. I could swear I remember hearing/reading 4X4s being more expensive than sportscars sometimes. Maybe someone can confirm/deny this...

Well thing is I've heard similar stories from other people all over western NC that had the same problem. I've even heard of one case where Geico dropped collision on a persons coverage without their permission just so they can deny their claim saying that they wasn't covered.
