Might help to have more details. Was the cam swap completed when you bought it? Or did the previous owner give up during the swap?

The cam swap was completed as per seller. I'm concerned about what changes need to be made or should have been made to say the pcm program.or is the no crank no start issue related to standard common electrical issues.shorted wire.low battery power...??? Thanks for reply asen

Make sure ground wires are hooked up to right side cylinder head

Priority would be finding out why isn’t it starting then, cam relearn and finally tuning. It could be any number of reasons why it wont start.

So it doesn't even turn over? Start at the battery if so.

If any of the wiring harnesses are loose (even the bundle into the automatic transmission), you'll get that no crank condition.

Make sure the main engine ground is connected (Short black cable on the body near the ABS module to front of motor) Also make sure you have 12v coming from the battery And as others have said, you will have a single wire ground near or on the back of each head coming from the harness and then a bundle of grounds that bolt to the head near the dipstick. If all your grounds are good and you have 12v and wont even click or turn over let us know. We are assuming it is the same ecu and ignition key that it ran with before

thanks for all of the help and info.but things have gone side ways.the main ground for the ecm was burnt in two. disassembled the ecm plug and found the ground wire melted for 3 inches.checked all grounds.they seemto be all there and in place, does anyone have any ideas?
