^ haha nice (to the magic 8 ball that is)

I wouldnt buy it. I'd rather the rag top, just fits better with the classic muscle car. I wanted a vert when i was looking for mine but it was out of my price range.

This car is already heavy...really heavy. How would you like to add another 200-300lbs???? I have no clue how much it would add but I am probably close....not to mention more cash

Also the reason i picked the hard top was for SOME trunk space.

A hardtop convertible probably wouldnt work considering it would take at least twice as much space as the ragtop does. Most likely would take up the entire trunk for storage. The only cars that can have a hardtop convertible are usually fairly long (especially in the back) so that they can fit a huge trunk in the car to fit the huge hardtop. Not to mention how much additional weight would be added and thus likely messing with the car's weight balance and center of gravity.

not anytime soon on the 5th Gen. maybe on the 6th Gen?

But a hard top would definitely be badass!

We have told our salesman that if this ever goes into production, we will be trading my '11 SS in on one! It is the only convertible Camaro I would ever own.

Contary opinions are offered among the makers of the many shorter wheel based and trunk lengthed vehicles already in production than Gen5's, including Porsche, Volvo, VW, Mercedes, BMW, Audi's, Mazda's, Chrysler as well others. Heres a few samples....

It would make the car even heavier and you would have no trunk space. I love the rags.
