so sorry about your car. It always amazes me when I park in the middle of nowhere with a bazillion other parking spaces and I come back and there is a car parked right next to me and still a bazillion other empty spaces. hope you get it fixed soon.

I'm sorry to hear about that. Having said that, am I the only one on the forums who purchased the Stay-Nu protection?

I paid for 5 years coverage and wheel protection, so now if I get a door ding or a paint chip, they come out to my house to fix it, regardless of who is at fault. They've already fixed a rock chip I had in the hood. Can't even tell it was there.

You should see if it isn't too late to purchase this plan. I think it was $500 something for a 5 year plan.

so I have an IOM Camero.. and.. well. some jerk hit my fender in a parking lot and of COURSE didn't leave a note.. KUDOS to those parents BTW..
ANYWAY .. had it fixed.. The part was only $172.00 .. Not bad huh? The friggin repair was over $1800.00... grrr.. Ya know they HAD to match the paint well.. and that took some time on this color.. Have to say it was worth EVERY penny to see it done right.
If you live in NNJ.. always use Franks GMC Pontiac in Lyndhurst for body work.. These guys actually CARE and do a GREAT job!

Kathie came home Friday night and I was finishing waxing Bee Bee. I just happened to walk around to the drivers side of her car and a big hit/scrape down the drivers side door. Kathie did not even notice it since it was dark when they got in the car to come home. Now both sides of her Acura RL are messed up. I told her we are driving that car till it drops since it keeps getting dinged up. Yeah Jackie my oldest side swiped a tree in it on the passenger side since refuses how to back down the driveway when she was learning to drive.

Hell no! Not if it is going to cost that much! It doesn't cost a lot to match the paint. Those guys are criminals!

Donna: Parking lot idiots is the main reason I kept my daily driver. I have yet had to park my Camaro out of my sight. With insurance and maintance on my daily driver 2006 Impala (which I bought new) there seams to be no easy or cost effective way out of the parking lot problem. Sorry to hear about your scuff/dent.

I don't like parking anywhere anymore unless it's my garage.

I'm thinking of adding 6 of these to every Camaro I sell:

I feel your pain! Those Dent Dr's to wonders though...and sometimes brake cleaner works great at removing scuffs.

You could always park on the line and take up two spaces.
