Servicing the Receiver Drier question.

To service the drier and to change out the desiccant bag, does the condenser need to be removed? Or can the assembly be serviced from the top of the condenser?

I will be servicing my AC this weekend as it is no longer working and after evacuating the system I may have to replace the compressor, expansion valve, service the drier assembly and clean the lines out.

I have always worked on older vehicles that had a traditional orifice tube and drier canister under the hood. This is my first time working on a expansion valve equipped vehicle.

I've been looking online for instructions or video on how to do the drier but I have not found much, any advice would be appreciated.
