You could easily pull the sensor, and check to ensure that it’s installed in the correct air flow direction. The sensor should be marked to show the air flow direction.

I know there was an issue with older camaros having a slower sensor which had to be upgraded to high-flow sensor... if you're putting on a CAI, that might cause you problem. Research that topic.
