Sixth-generation superchargerThe LSA’s supercharger is the sixth-generation design from Eaton and displaces 1.9 liters. It features a four-lobe rotor design that promotes quieter and more efficient performance, while its large displacement ensures adequate air volume at high rpm. Maximum boost is 9.0 psi (0.62 bar).

You also have to remember that the LSA was designed for the CTS-V and is just a carry over engine/blower from Cadillac. There was some article that came out as a press release when the CTS-V was new about how the LSA is a great engine for Cadillac since it isn't your typical loud supercharged engine.

Anyone know the difference in whine for a AirRaid vs Rotofab? I already have the LPE 650 kit...

Well, true. Not sure how loud the whine from an outside perspective as I've never tested mine. I will say this, my old 2004 Grand Prix GTP whine was more pronounced than my ZL.

You guys are right I've done a lot of reading an apparently it's the supercharger that just isn't going to give my ears the affair they long for.
