Borla or Corsa...

I'm torn between the Borla Atak catback setup or the Corsa Catback. They both sound so good but I can't decide which one to go with. Would love it if you all could leave sound clip of your exhaust set ups and help me decide. Please state whether or not you're completely stock.

Look in the exhaust thread. There are tons of videos there.

I went with ATAK after listening to them. I've been very happy with it.

There is an exhaust sticky, and there is alot of videos on YouTube. Typically on a stock car most really like the borla. The Corsa is pretty mild on a stock car.

On the flip side though, once you get cam and headers the Corsa sounds better than the borla.

If I didn't have NPP, I'd have Corsa. I like its refined, droneless tone.

Solo!!!! Oh, wait that wasn't an option. I'd go Corsa. Guaranteed drone free, and when you get long tube headers, the things sound awesome. I still say Solo because it is less expensive yet high quality, also guaranteed drone free, and is louder with stock cats/manifolds. I'll see if I can get a video of my exhaust later...Solo Mach XL w/ Kooks LT's & cats.

Updated: Here's a sound clip of mine.

Corsa would be my choice, but both are very popular. The ATAK setup is extremely loud if you plan on going with headers + Cam + SC. One of our best customers and a friend has a Borla ATAK and on our last dyno day it was louder then a 57 Bel Air With a BBC, and a Cascar race truck.

Thanks

Corsa + Headers = Loud Outside, Quiet Inside.

I've got a borla attak and even without headers it was music! Now with the headers it's like heaven.

Both are premium options regarding quality, fitment and durability. That Borla ATAK specifically is going to be much louder than any Corsa. The Borla S-Type would be a more direct comp to Corsa

Great systems, totally different notes. The ATAK is very aggressive. The Corsa is refined and has much less cabin noise. Personal preference is going to be the deciding factor on this one. Can't go wrong either way IMO. Good luck!!

All the best,

Flowmaster Outlaw. Much deeper than those, but just as loud and aggressive. The Atak and Corsa sound good, but were too raspy for my liking. The Outlaw is perfect, imo.
