A friend of the family took Elaine in to see Scott Settlemire today. He seems to be about the same. The nurse said that he's doing as well as they expect, considering what he's been through. They're feeding him soft foods and he seems to enjoy every bite! His right side is weak, but they hope it will strengthen up with rehab. No talk about when or where that will be yet. Elaine showed him a few cards that came today and read them to him. She asked him if he knew the people that sent the one ...and he said "yes"!

That is the best news too hear. That Scott is reacting this good so quick.
But are prayers will not stop until he is up and out.

Scott Settlemire is still improving very slowly. They removed his IVs, and his bp is stabilized. They're feeding him regular foods....he has a good appetite!! Still not talking much, but hopefully once he's in rehab, that should improve. He's also still in ICU, but as soon a room opens up they'll move him to a reg. room. He has a long way to go, but we're happy with his progress! ��

I don't know Scott but I'm roughly in the same age bracket and any level of stroke is scary. My prayers go out to the family and my personal appreciation to Scott for giving me the option of owning a Camaro
