installing long tube headers?

How hard is this? Do u have to lift engine or not? Also says bolt on no mods neccessarry taking it that means it will work with stock exhaust

You do not need to lift the engine. Just make sure you give yourself 2' of clearance underneath the car. With the correct midpipes you can connect to factory exhaust. You will need a tune if you don't want to stare at a CEL light.

If you have just basic knowledge, it's an easy mod. You don't have to jack up engine, you will need to jack up the car high enough to slide the headers in from the bottom. I have a $40 jack from Oreilly and it was fine. Depending on what brand header you get will determine how they fit. Most top brands will go right in with no issues!

Get high flow cats with bungs for the rear O2's, or off road pipes. Pull your spark plugs before you start or you may break some.

It's easy to do, just time consuming. If it is your first time doing this, allocate at least 3-4 hours, if you have a buddy and both of you are mechanically capable you could do it a little quicker.

Besides the typical tools, you will also need a O2 sensor wrench (sorry don't know the actual name of it), a torch, a can of PB Blaster (or some other spray that help break loose bolts because getting the O2 sensors out of the factory cat's are a royal pain), and some anti-seize for when you reinstall the sensors.

Thanks draco my brother and I are both mechanically inclined...brother could strip engine doen to bare block put back together so I think we can handle... when we did buddys TA WS6 it was pain in butt had to lift engine to fit them...
Also do u have to heat wrap? Cant justify buying stainless if ur gonna have to wrap them

Very straightforward and not hard at all. I recommend you doing it with the help of a buddy just to build your confidence up. Plus when you put the dipstick tube back in (with help), you won't have to make a thread saying "HELP!! I Can't GET THE DIPSTICK TUBE BACK IN" lol.

This. An extra set of hands definitely helps with most exhaust jobs. Just take your time and should be fine.

You can borrow an O2 socket from Auto Zone, just buy a small packet of anti-seize and PB blaster, That and warming up the engine got my O2 sensors out with just a grunt! Also get your brother to get under the car with a flashlight when you take the dipstick tube out. Take note of where the hole is so that when you get ready to reinstall it, you can find it again.
You will enjoy it more if you do it yourself!

Personally I would not wrap the headers. It will destroy the headers over the long term and most manufacturers will not warranty headers that have been wrapped. As large as the Camaro's engine bay is, heat is really not an issue but if you it bothers you, you can always buy coated headers.

Doesn't bother me I don't want them wrapped... thanks guys...so dipstick is an issue to watch... can anyone explain lil more
