Tune, the GM tune is a joke even in "High Octane" tables. They can't even use what they learned from the LNF.

Listen to these two folks, they know what works. BTW it works for mine also. But you will never have enough HP. You get used to it and want more. Welcome to the world of Never Fast Enough.

ARH HFC, Ported Throttle Body and Underdrive Pulley + tune, you will pick up a little power but also notice a quicker throttle response due to the PTB and UDP.

Okay thanks. I read the post you made about the LGX intake flowing about 10% better bone stock than the LFX intake. Makes me wonder what GM did to change it in such a way that it will not fit. I wonder if with some "modifications", if it would work on the LFX?

I'll save you a lot of time and money. Don't bother with all that. If you want horsepower just get the turbo. None of that other stuff will make a difference.

The new LGX is quite a bit different than the LFX it replaced. While not impossible to get the LGX intake on an LFX, it would probably be a very expensive task. On average when I finish modifying an LFX intake, it flows about 20% better than stock. With that, I don't see a reason to pursue trying to make an LGX intake fit the LFX engine. |
