Best car wash soap/wax for my new BLACK camaro?

I want to make her sparkle before taking her out tomorrow to show the family and friends. Looking for stuff I can find in town at a Walmart/Auto store/Etc.

Oh and of course something to make my bright aluminum wheels SPARKLE!

Hit up the wash and detail section of the forum it has so much good information. But to answer your question Mothers or Meguiars Gold class make good over the counter wash but if you want to go "high end" soap, you need to look into Adams Polishes, or Chemical Guys. As far as making it "Sparkle" that is where polish comes in, wax is strictly a protectant and does little to make you car shine or sparkle. Hope this helps.

Wrong forum, but I use this for wash/wax and it's amazing. I heard about it on here, and you can definitely buy it at your local Walmart.

You can get a whole gold mine of info about detailing here.

Zaino wash and polish. Expensive but the absolute best. I use nufinish because I'm cheap.

It's suspiciously hidden under the title of:

Cosmetic Maintenance: Washing, Waxing, Detailing, Bodywork, Protection

That's a pretty bold statement given the massive amount of companies out there selling extremely good products. Just like many things, people think that what they use is the best.

I've heard Meguiar's Black Wax is the BEST wax that you can buy at a typical auto parts store.
http://www.meguiars.com/en/automotiv...207-black-wax/
Of course, there are better waxes out there but you have to special order them. Any car wash soap at an auto parts store will be OK too.

You should ask this guy to wash/wax your car:

I do like Zaino soap, it smells nice and that's about it.

Biggest thing man, black car, stop what you are doing and watch Junkman's 2 Bucket Wash System right frickin now before you make a mistake you cannot take back.

This is part 1 of 4 I think, you can find the rest from here or a google search

And before some idiot says buckets are old school use a foam gun, yes, I have one of those too

Good luck

Zack- get some Turtle Wax Black Detailing spray.
It's specifically for black cars.

I used to use McGuiers, but ever since I changed over to Adams Polishes, I will not be buying any sort of washing/waxing products from Wal-Mart.
