DD or Kicker
Im looking at putting 2 12"s in my camaro to enhance the bass plan on going fiberglass ported but i cant make a decision between the kicker cvx or dd 3500. Ive done some research and the dds just seem really power hungry and im not sure if id have the correct room required to get the best SQ. I mostly listen to hip/hop and rock/alternative and im tryna keep price reasonable so i dont know if the dd's are really worth it since best price ive got was around 325$ a sub. Anyone have any insight or opinions?

No input on your question however I would make a suggestion. Look at SSA ICON's. Great sub at a very reasonable cost.

I personally would run just about anything before I'd run Kicker. I have seen and had way to many problems with Kicker.
On the other hand, DD 3500's are beasts. If you're not planning on doing competitions and buying 2 beastly amps to run them, I would recommend looking elsewhere. They are great subs, but they do like power. I'd say they are more on the SPL side as well. That being said, I'd do the DD's because I'm crazy. I'm running a single Rockford Fosgate T1D215 (at somewhere around 1400-1500W). Are you locked on these 2 brands/subs? If you're looking for SQ, have you thought about JBL or Image Dynamics, or maybe RE Audio (or Rockford Fosgate - yeah, I hear they're terrible)? Are you replacing/adding anything else or just adding subs?

You can get CVX 12's for $125? Or is that supposed to be $325?

For $159 each, I'd try Kickers again myself. That's a steal.
