I like the sound better with just the MRT V2's but after the headers it was just too much.

I installed mine in 7 hours by myself (didn't move the alternator or use air tools) but that was movin' as fast as I could 'cause I only had 1 day to get it done.
'Twas a pain but worth the effort.

I think the sound is even better now than just the MRT's alone, Drove away from dropping of my buddy last night who helped with the install, and he sent me this on a text. "More throatier, when you took off low speed....sounds GREAT." As for the install WOW 7 hours, you must have been busting butt, it is NOT an easy job for one.

This is great advice for anybody thinking about doing this job And we didn't use a torque wrench either. Ha Ha. No leaks.

Enjoy the rush of exhaust underneath your legs, the power increase and entry into the LT Club.

FTR I didn't think your exhaust was that raspy. Maybe a little but it sounds mean and purposeful. Now my old SOLO's were raspy. My import buddy loved my old SOLO's and doesn't like the new ARK DT-S's as much. He's weird that way. Can't wait to hear some drive by's.

Thank - you, Yes, we for sure were taking our time, we have spent many a days in the garage working on our snowmobiles too. The power is something you can feel right away. Best HP increase going today short of FI and Nitrous. The videos did not show signs of the horrible sound in the 2500 - 3500 rpm range, however, it is GONE NOW.

Thank - you Marvin. For sure it sounds just the way I was hoping for it to sound. Better than the MRT's alone.

I was sore for days afterward from being hunched over the motor for hours and crawling in and out from under the car. I think I had a sore throat from all the swearing too!

Just heard the videos.....sounds great!

For a second I thought I was hearing my car, even though I don't have the magnaflow x-pipe. I have the normal ARH x-pipe, non perforated. I wonder if it's because I went with bigger pipes from the cats on down ......

I hear that. My forearms were bruised and sore from fighting the tight spots. Well worth the effort thou.

Indeed, Thanks to you and all the others who led the way to find that the X pipe works......

Thats the goal this summer. Waiting for tracy with the insulators planning on getting the ported TB and insulators at the same time. This could be a fun spring

Indeed. just waiting for the final testing and numbers. Hopefully will see the track in the first part of April while the air is still cool. I will probably hit the dyno for the first and only time too. Get some numbers since I don't see anymore engine mods in my future for a very long time after these next 2.

V6 1/4 drag racing list. link below, see post # 3.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61392

I had the top spot for one week last year. Then the boys from NJ got back on the track and knocked me back a few spots. Since then I have been slowly dropping.

Next time you get pulled over ask him if he wants to race you for pinks.....LOL
