Drag radial set up

Hey guys,

Just wondering if I will be able to run TPMS in my drag radial set up. I purchased a separate set of 18" MT drag radials on C6 Z06 rims and bought OEM sensors. I will be running my stock 20's on the street but I'd like to have sensors in my drag radial set up for when I swap them for the track. Is this an option?

Please advise. Thanks!

If you brought a programmer with you, that being said, it typically takes ~100+ miles for it to throw a error. I've driven for a week on my drag setup and never had an issue with TPMS. Mounting the sensors and programming them just sounds like a waste of money. If you plan on running around on the street for extended periods of time and want to buy something to do the relearn then go for it.

In fact, leaving sensors out is probably better. If you have them in and programmed and run below ~24psi it will keep flashing warnings at you for low tire pressure. If you have no sensors, it ignores it for awhile until you get a warning.

You can but, I think 2010's like mine are the only year where you can set the TPMS yourself without a calibrator (I believe you can buy the calibrator).

I run ZR1 replicas 18x9.5 front and rear for my non-winter setup:
