In person on dyno isn't always an option, thus the remote tune. Fills the void.

I get if there is something wrong with the car such as hardware problem or something etc. And then being there in person the car can be looked at. but if everthing is working ok on the car. Can a remote tune be done just as good
as in person.

If you can datalog and have a wideband. Email the data logs and tuner emails the changes back and forth until it's dialed in. If I read your question correctly. LOL

DynoSteve does my remote tunes and I love them! My car has never seen a dyno and may not ever.

Most tuners wont offer remote tunes for FI applications.

Of course on dyno is always the best route but if you have a matching build that someone else has dyno tuned then the file will be pretty accurate. We do so many remote tunes and we give people dyno files of matching builds so we do not have to go back and forth on data logging.

thanks I heard that same thing from another tuner. I'd rather take it to a tuner for now.

I have had my car tuned every way possible, hand held, custom remote, dyno, and street tuned. Nothing beats having the tuner in your car doing a street tune and doing the finishing touches on the dyno. Someone tuning the car to your driving style makes a world of difference on drivability..especially if it's cammed.

In person is always better especially if you are in a state of the art shop.
