timing the bushings and alignment help.

So I have done research and after dropping my car understand I need to time the bushings and do an alignment. I went to one shop and asked them how much for an alignment and how much to time the bushings. He didn't know what timing the bushings meant.

Now I am getting brand new wheels and tires, should I get the alignment after I put them on our just do the alignment now with my 18 inch rims?


Will a shop like firestone or NTB be able to time the bushings?


Also I have read the camaro needs a 4 wheel alignment will this cost more?

I paid $118 for my alignment. You can get it done with these wheels, it won't change with the new ones.

Is amazing how many alignment "professionals" don't know this. When i had mine done I had to take a printout of BMR's instructions with me and explain what i wanted done.

Well firestone has a coupon for 69 bucks for an alighnment but im not sure if they can time the bushings or know what it is.

THat is a good idea of printing the instructions out.

I would do it myself but I dont have a 4 post lift, If I did it myself it would have to be on rhino ramps or on jackstands but I hear this will not work correctly.

I know timing the bushings is important since my car looks like it hasnt dropped the full amount yet.

Used a 2 post lift and loosened everything that had to be loosened and then dropped the car on blocks so I could get under it to tighten everything after I re-timed the bushings. I took mine for an alignment as soon as I could, guy told me I would probably need camber bolts because he couldnt adjust it enough. Using pfadt springs.
