BANG BANG.

Hey everyone. I have a 2011 2LT/RS Auto and have 17000 miles on it. I have noticed when I pop the hood i can here this metal clicking sound while the engine is running. It doesn't sound damaging but still its a little disheartening. Also, while I am driving and have the car stopped at a light I can hear this rattling. I thought It was first coming from my loose license plate but have confirmed its not that lol. It really sounds like it is coming from the shifting knob or below it. Has anyone else had this or should I take it in to the dealership?
