Really, all you guys that are living with this issue should be taking your cars back to the dealership. No new car should do this.

2019 1LE, just hit 19,000 miles. My clutch has started to chatter when engaging 1st gear. Nothing on my end has changed, this is my 8th manual car. Never had any clutch problems with previous cars. Very strange.

If I add more throttle, it goes away. Doing my standard low speed launch in 1st gear - the clutch has started to chatter audibly...can also feel it. All gears pull hard.

Guess i'll go to the dealer - ugh.

There is not likely anything wrong with your clutch. This is not uncommon with a double disk clutch. If you let it out with very little throttle it can surge or chatter or slip a bit and then grab a few times or whatever you want to call it. They actually have a section in the GT350 manual that talks about it. Give it more throttle and it should not do it. Like others have said I have driven clutches for most of my life and I am in my mid sixties, I had not experienced this before. Thing is I had never driven a dual disk clutch with a dual mass flywheel before either.

Bought it with 800 miles on it. Has never done this until about 500 miles ago.

It's just curious, why would it start now?

Not sure why now. I did notice you said audibly. What noise do you get? I do not get any noise when it happens just the sensation.

Old thread, I know.

But I have shudder only in 1st gear from a stop. No noise, really. Just shudders and I can feel it in the pedal.

Seems to happen more when it's cold.

I have 17K miles and many track days. This Camaro has been bullet proof (what an improvement from my C7). The shudder does not bother me much, except that I'm paranoid that clutch will go at any momoent. But it is a solid clutch, pleasure to drive it, except for the shudder from a stop.

Yes, the shudder is really only pronounced in parking lot situations and stop and go traffic, where you need to go very slowly.

On a normal or spirited take off there is never any shudder. Also, on my 1LE, little to no shudder when warm, even on slow accelerations.

baron95, mine is the exactly same. Now 20k miles on my 2019 1LE. Gears pull hard and clutch operation/gear operation is as stout as day I bought it. Just noticed some chattering when taking off from first.
