And it was common to be sitting at a red light and the car next to you just rumbling. It's rare nowadays...I usually hear speakers rumbling next to me and it's not the same.

Well I was born in 1966 so that made me a 3 yr old cruising with my dad in his 396 chevelle. Wish I could remember more of it.

No. Replacing the Camaro with a Chevelle? That's just crazy talk. How about replacing the Malibu which already has a history with Chevelle instead? Nobody would miss that car. The sixth gen will be a fine car worthy of the Camaro name.

Crazy talk? But everyone here wants it! And I'm sure that the performance will be there but appearence wise? The 6th Gen will look better than these 5th Gens?

Can't see how anybody can say for sure that the sixth gen won't look better since we don't have a clue what it will look like. They do have big shoes to fill but they can pull it off. If my other post wasn't clear I do think a Chevelle would be nice if they build it right, like an SS sedan with sportier styling.

No, the Malibu was a trim level of the Chevelle. For some reason, people refer to Chevelles as Malibus and that has always bugged me.

I would love to see the Chevelle return. Build it off the Alpha with a two and four door version.
It has to look like a 70, though. |

And if they ever bring back the Chevelle name in a front-wheel dive, four-door sedan only, I'm buying a Ford.

If Chevy had a 2 door retro Chevelle that had a back seat that you could use I would buy it, GM has not been interested in that type of car since 1987, when they got rid of the

Ofcourse! But really it's not the name that is selling but the 5th Gen! You can't go off of the 5Th Gen success with the upcoming 6th Gen! Because the 6th Gen haven't sold anything!
