Isn't the double cab essentially the exact same thing as an extended cab

Or is not technically an extended cab bc it has normal doors

Extended Cabs had suicides, Double Cabs have shortened rear doors.

I used to be a fan of the suicides until I started driving this F-150 which rattles more than the buses I used to drive. Good lord.

Regular cab, short bed, 6.2, either 2wd or 4wd. 13 second rocket.
That would be sweet!

Thats exactly what I figured, but essentially it's still the same thing lol. I. Sure plenty of people still call them extended cabs

Think twice about buying a Silverado HD if you are looking a real TRUCK. This is nothing but a station wagon that looks like a truck. I traded my 6 months old 2014 in for my ZL1 and was very happy to see it go.

The stripes look great, don't care for the grill. Like others have said this is ok but not what truck buyers are looking for. This will not get the new Silverado out of its funk. Build the Cheyenne and make the 6.2 available for RCSB and in all trims. I believe there are things in the works but they will take some time to show up, hopefully before the next generation. Putting the 8speed with the 5.3 would help tremendously.

A complete total make over is needed. If they want to call it a truck than make it one. Not a overgrown SUV.
