Nitrous - HP gain VS Shot size

Hi Guys & Gals, first post here. Have had my Camaro for a little over a year & a 1/2, have been lurking on this forum since the day I bought the car. Have learned a TON of info from this forum, all mods I have done I researched here first.

Question: Car is at the Dyno today (I'm at work) & the tuner just called me asking if I was positive I'm running a 100 shot (I am). He said we are seeing almost 155 rwhp/rwtq increase with the Nitrous! Has anyone else seen such a difference in HP VS shot size?

Will post actual numbers after I pick up the car & get Dyno sheet.

Thanks,
Jim

Edit: Just got back from picking up the car. He pulled quite a bit of timing from original tune (8 degrees) lost 34 HP/41TQ. Now it sits at 370rwhp/366rwtq on the 100 shot it makes 561rwhp/569rwtq, so a 191hp/203tq gain on a 100 shot. Base run today was down 3 HP due to weather conditions from original tuning. AFR is 12.3 N/A & 11.5 - 12.00 on nitrous, running 92 octane with a bottle of torqo added. Timing was 22 degrees now at 14 degrees.

I put in "75" jets and got 100hp on the dyno. I think it depends alot on the set up (cam, heads, intake).

I know right? Just got the system dialed in today...the #'s quoted are straight off the dyno sheets, base run, timing retard run, then nitrous pull...I was shocked at the #'s as well...A lot more than I expected from a 100 shot & conservative tune, can still put more timing back in, most likely won't this year, I like the safety net of the tune. BTW Dynojet dyno if that matters to anybody, but car was bone stock when I started & this is the only dyno it's been on, so #'s for comparison purposes for my car should be realistic?

N.O. recommended jetting is for rear wheel hp. That seems a bit much. Double check jets. 52N 28F.
Maybe stamped wrong? Is the shop adjusting the duty cycle of the injectors or adjusting fuel jet. My 2010 stock fuel system would not support that amount. After the initial hit, fuel pressure recovery was way too slow.

Thank You for the input, I was thinking along the same line...reverted back to my street tune for now until I get it all figured out. Strip is not open this weekend here so may have some better info next week. However I am positive that the jets are "100" shot stamping...who knows

this is why nitrous guys refer to jet size instead of "shot size". there isn't always a direct correlation between the two. if your tune is good, leave it be and run it, you'll be fine
