When you do a tune in your camaro does it automaticly shut off the AFM and do torque management calibrations or is it somthing you have to do with a custum tune within your Diablo sport tuner. Thanks For the help, Jim

I have the diablosport but also have a LS3...so what i can tell you is that there is a tune built into the diablosport and when you install it, it will give you some choices right before it loads the tune to your car.....one of these items is the AFM......on mine...it let me choose to turn of the skip shift. If you want to talk to somebody with great prices and a wealth of knowlege, pm or Call Jannetty Racing.....Ted is great to work with! Plus if you buy from him, and you decide to change something, he can help with remote tuning!

You have to turn it off manually. It is an option in the "modify tune" section. They call it DOD not AFM.

EDIT: There are NO torque management options other than to shut it off completely (IIRC). They state they have "optimized" them as part of their tunes.

under Modify Tune, there is an option for the DOD where you can go in and disable it...

as for torque management, there are no end-user adjustable parameters for that - the engine TM is already reduced/removed in the tunes...

if Torque management is removed does this cause any issues with the Tranny down the road or is this safe??

you can do it when you initially install the tune, or afterwards, doesn't matter...

if you want to make changes/adjustments after you've already installed one of the diablo tunes, you simply connect to your car, select the same diablo tune that you installed before, and then - instead of selecting Install Tune - you select Modify Tune... then scroll through the parameters to get to the parameters you want to modify... select the parameter menu/submenu, make your adjustment/change, press the Enter/Center button to save the change, then press the ESC button a few times to back out of the menus, and it will prompt you and ask "Install Tune Now?"...

answer/select YES, and it will install the diablo tune with the adjustments/changes you made to it...

None of the TM is removed/reduced in the tranny/TCM...

it is only reduced/removed on the engine-side of the tune so that you get the most allowable power available sent to the tranny/wheels...

and yes, it's safe...

I just installed my Predator Tune on my 2010 Camaro LS3. I only had two options, Diablo Tune and 91oct tune. Which one should I pick? I have a Airaid CAI, and Muffler delete.

Diablo tune is 93 octane tune.

the Diablo Tune is made for 93 octane gas... and then there's the 91 octane tune...

so, if you have access to, and use, good 93 octane gas in your car, install the Diablo Tune...

but if you're area is like California and only has 91 octane gas available, then install the 91 octane tune...

Thank you, I live in AZ, so I am good with the 91 oct tune, how do I take out the skip shift? Is it the CAGS On/Off setting?
