Speaking of revs...
6200 is the limit...
I assume the car will have a rev limiter that will start hollering at about what 6100 RPM?
Anyone planning on installing a monster tach other visionary means of protection?
hahaha.
You have the rev limiter and whats the other name I am trying to think of?
After the rev limiter is..............______.
having a brain fart here.......
Not thinking of track mode either....
hum...this car might deserve a monster tach as it would be a simple teency mod and simple to remove...

SS people chime in here..there is a rev limiter...and then .....____
ok, let me google it maybe I can figure out what I am talking about..
its a electronic function device to keep you from slinging rods and floating valves..
I think its actually part of the rev limiter itself..

You can tell I aint driven a modern muscle car hahahaha!
Last modern I had was a 97 Lt1...they don't have factory rev limiters..

ok what its called is a two step limiter....
I have seen some guys on here mentioning it..
but is the two step limiting process factory, or is it just all aftermarket?
If its aftermarket, where would the factory ZL1 rev limiter kick in?
What is the stock rev limit on a 2010-2011 SS LS3?
And at what rpm does the factory rev limiter kick in?
Maybe that will help explain my questioning..

It looks like those tires where really hooking up with 580 HP. I know when I dump the clutch on the road with the stock tires it just sits there at first and spins then starts to move and thats with 421 HP to the wheels. Those must be pretty sticky tires can't wait to see some 1/4 track times.
