If I was going to race it, yes, but for driving on the street it's going to be headers and most likely a cam, OR the supercharger but not both.
Headers, tune, cat-back, intake, cam, and gears. That will be all I ever do.

Don't forget to do some suspension work as well. Power is no good if you can't put it to the ground.

Oh....so here is a time slip I ran back in October. My time is on the left. The right lane was a stock 5th gen with an Edelbrock supercharger and tune. No headers or suspension work. My car....basic bolt-ons and some suspension work. Both of us were on stock tires.

I am around the Woodlands as well. Put my LG headers on a few weeks ago and had it tuned last week. The midrange torque is a huge improvement. Made 414 rwhp and 419 rwtq. Just be sure to invest in some good rubber, not breaking loose won't be a problem anymore!

So you noticed a huge difference just with headers and a tune from a dead stop to WOT acceleration? How did the tuner deal with the torque management system? How was your low end torque after the install?

First dyno pull is bone stock. Second one is after ARH Longtubes, high flow catted x, Rotofab, and tuned by Mike @ Vengeance. Still have stock mufflers. Also, M6 has no Torque Management, thats on A6 only. M6 skip shift was eliminated. I am very pleased with my results! Name: Scan0001.jpg

Are you sure about the torque management? It's on the engine side with the ls3, and on engine and transmission with the L99... Reduces torque to under 280 ft lbs at 3k RPM or below ...

How was dead stop acceleration improved after the headers?

Seat of the pants feel is noticeably stronger and faster. As far as Torque Management, I can't be SURE?, heck I'm brand new with this 5th gen. But the tuner told me that M6 doesn't have it. So, looking at the dyno results, I would have to conclude that if he says he didn't adjust that, there is definitly not an issue now with torque, after the tune.

Let's just say I roast the tires in 1st gear and will burn a bit through second. I dont even really pop the clutch, just let it out swiftly and jump on it. There is definitely Tq management on the Ls3. Look at any stock tune dunno graph and you will see the dip

do you think a tune by lowering the TM will solve this issue big time?
Don't get this, is you car an L99. Sorry for just barging in like this, but my LS3 2012 lights up the tires for like 2 -3 car lengths easily even with TC turned on. Maybe I was lucky.
