Sorry, I am not upset at your comment, I am upset that GM won't build what many potential buyers might want. Just tired of GM being GM...as usual. Many have asked for a blue on this car for quite awhile now, and all we get are lame excuses...its really just BS, and I, as many others, are tired of it. I don't think I should have to buy a new Camaro and then tear it apart to paint it. I already bought a 1/18 scale diecast from the Chevymall and did that just to see what it would look like. (looks great) It didn't take a million dollar focus group full of art and color geeks to figure that one out.

It looks good but why did that take so long to come up with?

I think Guy Fieri would be a very good person to drive the Pace Car!

When I saw that the festival cars were beautiful Camaros in the style of the '67 pace car, I was completely certain that the pace car would be a Camaro. I mean... How often are the festival cars different from the actual pace car?! (That question begins life as a rhetorical one, but it does make me think)

I would say whenever the Pace Car model is just too expensive to replicate as a Festival Car. Although I would love to see it, if the ZL1 is ever a Pace Car (2013??) - they probably won't have 50+ ZL1 Festival Cars. The ZL1 is pricey enough without the added $7k+ cost of a Pace Car package!

2012 Camaro Pace Car Options
Does anybody know if any of the Festival cars this year (2012) are equipped with 6 speed manual transmissions and if so which numbers are these cars?

I have one and was told that all were automatics, due to the needs of the festival team!
