for anyone's info:

I've lined up with this guy that does mobile car detailing who's going to be meeting me at my hotel (the Wingate) on Friday and Saturday to hand wash/dry my car. I told him there's probably going to be tons of people like myself who will need his services. he said $20 to hand wash/dry any Camaro on either day.

this seems like a good deal for those of us like myself who will need their cars freshened up after the long road trip. there's no way I would ever run my car through an automatic car wash so this will be the perfect thing.

PM for his contact info if you're interested in getting your car done either day.

We should be there in PLENTY of time! Our flight gets in around 9:30 I believe, so we should be able to get there!

There are two meet points in MI.

The original meet point is in Monroe. We will be departing at 11am.

Cracker Barrel
1101 Ternes Drive
Monroe, MI

The second meet point is in Warren across the street from the GM Tech Center. This group will also depart at 11 am.

Meijer
29505 Mound Road
Warren, MI 48092-2012

The Warren group will include Al Oppenheiser, Camaro Chief Engineer, Cheryl Pilcher, Camaro Product Manager, John Fitzpatrick, Camaro Marketing Manager, John Cox, Chevy Accessories Product Manager, and Jim Stanick, an engineer who worked on Camaro, and Adam Denison, from Communications. There will likely be media coverage to promote the event at this location.

sounds good. we're leaving at 04:30 & it's right at 2 hrs, so that gives us a 1/2 hr margin of error which i doubt we'll need - there ain't much between us & there
