Rust Issue?

Hi all,

I just discovered on my 2012 Camaro SS with 48k some very small bubble at one spot on the lower portion off the inside door. This surprises me because the rest of the car is very clean underneath. As far as I know the car was not driven in the winter....

See attached picture.

My idea was to clean the surface and file it down with the AC-delco paint pen.

Lived in the rust belt for some of my teenage years and my father showed me a trick that works well. He would put a small broken drill bit in his drill and at low speed it works the corrosion out and leaves the metal. Prime, paint stick, and forget.

They do make a rattle can rust converter that works well too. Wire brush, spray and if you choose to, paint over it. Good stuff that I have used on a lot of equipment.

Gotcha will do. I just had the car Krown rust proofed so I hope this isn't a trend... But it looks like to me maybe bad adhesion with the galvanized steel underneath.
