I can't say as I blame either of you considering the amount of anticipation that had built up for the race.

Thanks. The track was prepped nicely the night before (they got it ready right before they started their evening races). I think we were all just hoping for the same track prep the next day. It was very slippery and there are ways to combat that even in the heat. Owen's car was even sliding on slicks which has never happened before.

Owen wasn't mad...he's just run on a lot of tracks and organized a lot of races. That competitiveness comes out in all of us the more we put into our cars. We all still had a blast, and I'm sure the fest will continue to get better year after year.

Oh yea...next year...no more bracket racing!
