Blue Paint Color Choices

I need some help guys.... I am going to be getting blue 1969 Z28 style stripes painted on my Summit White 2LT. Problem is that I still need to decide on the color of blue. I want to use a stock/OEM color from SOME manufacturer so that I can paint some other things later in the same color. (bowtie, RS badges, etc.) and just in case a chip happens, etc.

I have thought of the following colors, but I am looking for more ideas-

GM Laser Blue Metallic (common on late model Monte Carlo's and Impala's)
Subaru World Rally Blue Pearl
Toyota Blue Ribbon Metallic (late model Camry, etc)

I want something with a good size flake so that it reflects light well...

who has anymore ideas?

ABM or IBM would look good. You should look at an ABM in the sun.

ABM is like SGM you have to see them in person to see how great the color really is

The IBM I think will be too dark-- against the Summit White, it will most certainly look black. ... similar to how the cyber grey stripes look black on the white car, but on IBM or RJT, the cyber grey stripes are pretty light looking. -- hence going for something more medium blue... it will darken up against the white paint.

never was too fond of the ABM... too green

This may or may not be the shade of blue you`re looking for. I used this color for a blue stripe on a white 68 Road Runner with a 6 Barrel Hood, it`s called B5.

Stop by the shop. I could spray some samples for you. I am liking the auburn color idea. But then again I like keeping it Gm.

Auburn? not sure what you mean. I certainly don't mind keeping it GM, but it's going to be about how it looks against the white, and the metallic flake- I know that the Laser Blue has a decent size flake to it, just not sure if it's too purple.

-if the blue i pick out isnt 'sparkly enough' then my wife will insist on going with the Medium Grey Metallic that is on her 05 Monte instead. That has good flake to it, too.

I used to think ABM had too much of a greenish color too...until I saw it in person. Then I bought it.

I was between white with blue stripes and ABM with white stripes. I don't really know the colors you've listed that well, but I do know the Subaru blue and it's nice. I'd go with that.
