Well I decided to check before hitting 1000. I have drove about 350 miles since the install and I'm surprised with amount that's already in the can.
Surprise surprise! Go elite can! |

Question: What's the difference in the single and dual valve catch cans? Are they for different applications? Which should I use on my ZL1?

ZL1 can use the single valve in most applications but it road tracking the car or similar WOT much of the time the dual valve gives some redundant evac at WOT.
Here is a good guidline: single valve is for NA mild builds, top mount SC below 10-12# boost. Dual valve is for turbo, twin turbo, front mount SC, and higher boost top mount SC. Monster can is for boost of any kind over 10-12# boost or any big cube NA or spray build. |

Has anyone found the elite catch can for an L99 for less than $159.95 w free shipping? If so, can you provide the info. Don't want to over pay for ANOTHER part. Thanks in advance!

Recieved my elite can today. May be a silly question, but I wonder when there are extra parts! Do they come with an extra rubber seal? There is already one installed to seal the cap to the body of the can. So what is the second one for?

Anyone with a catchcan.....take a few minutes and pick up a $10 clear glass inline fuel filter from any autoparts store...install it between any cans outlet and the intake manifold, then after a few hundred miles take a picture and show us just how effective your can is. ALL cans catch oil, but only a couple members here have EVER done this test to see (indeedss did several) just how much oil still gets past any can and into the intake air charge. Do it just for the heck of it and show yourself. Whay wont more do this and show just how well their chosen can does or does not work? We purchase every can (nearly) we see come on the market and do just that for our tests, yet out of the thousands of members here that do so many other mods themselves, aren't any at least curious to see?

Bumping this back up as I keep seeing people buying the china empty or non oil separating cans thinking they are an oil separating catchcan that actuall traps the oil, not lets most oil through.
