Spacing for SS under Camaro

What is the spacing you guys are using for the SS under the Camaro on the front fender? We should have a standard to keep them all the same since alot of us are doing it.

I read where a couple guys used the clear plastic piece that you take off the back of the ss prior to install.

I used a 1" block for spacing under the Camaro emblem. Looks pretty good.

I put a piece of 1 1/2" painters tape under the Camaro and centered the SS and stuck it on. I put the tape there so the SS runs parallel to the Camaro lettering. Tape comes right off very easy.

I used the plastic backing from the emblems as a spacer and I had some old pin striping that I ran down the letters to try to keep them lined up. Thanks for the help guys!
