The final product should be a very nice piece
The velocity stack is a great idea. It's not just a coincidence that the top two intakes were the only ones to utilize a velocity stack. Also, the bigger you can make your airbox, the better. Seeing that adding a scoop gains a good bit tells me that this engine loves a LOT of easily available air.

Nice to see another take on the CAI's for these.....def a different look. I like the fact that it can be colored to match.

Good job and waiting to see more!

We've pulled the trigger with the plastic forming company up north of us to have the velocity stack affair made of one piece ABS plastic. Our expected wait is 4-6 weeks for the tooling to be completed, and to receive the first 2 "prototype" pieces for approval.

Once we receive the first to pieces, we will construct 2 more "final prototypes" and head back up to the dyno, and should hopefully be able to start producing these for sale shortly after that.

The final piece is looking like it will be a very nice product, and should be well worth the wait

We are currently trying to think of a "cool name" for the intake product line... It may end up becoming a contest with the winner receiving a *free* intake in the near future... Unfortunately the company name, is the company name...

That looks pretty good. I've got a CAI intake right now, and had to fine tune it some to have it not sit on/touch the radiator hose. Any issues like that with yours?

Other than that, looks awesome, really interested to see prices / fitment once it's all finalized. Great work.

The very first prototype I started building had the pipe resting on the radiator hose, and I said to myself, "I'll be damned if I'm going to design a COLD air intake, and then lay the intake tube right on the HOT radiator hose..."

Needless to say, that issue has been taken care of.

Filters are in!

In other news...

We are currently working with a local high end powder coat materials manufacturer to color match the paint colors of the Camaro, so our intakes will have the option of a color matching powder coat finish!

We are expected to get a velocity stack/filter clamp piece machined out of hard coated polyurethane foam for approval around the middle of this coming week, with the pieces expected to start being made upon approval!

We're getting closer guys!
