I just contacted Xtreme DI on the possibility of having them produce a high flowing HPFP for the 3.6L LFX. Hopefully, I can get them on board; would enable boosted guys to run ethanol as a fuel source and allow guys the ability to turn up the boost without having to use supplemental fuel such as methanol.

Can you post up some pictures of the location of your release handle for the chute? I’m also curious if you do or plan to roll with the chute on all the time or only put it on for track days? Any ideas for like a little “plug” type deal for the hole in the plate when not running the chute to make it less noticeable when not running it?

Just ordered a 3.5" aluminum 1pc driveshaft from dss. Quoted 4-5weeks to be made. Keeping my fingers crossed I can get it out for the LFX Camaro record attempt on the 18th of November at Capital Dragway.

When I get a chance to get back to the shop I will get some pictures of how we mounted the release handle. She is not daily driven anymore; however, when she is driven on the street I will most likely keep the chute on.

I would definitely appreciate it. Seems like there aren’t many options to mount the release handle without either mounting a roll bar or replacing the emergency brake handle with the chute release handle. So I’m curious to see what others have come up with.

Long update finally coming....we decided not to mount the release handle until we install the 8.5 certified cage in January. It would get in the way of the e brake in the optimal location.

Finished installing the AEM methanol setup with upgrades, the dss 3.5' 1pc driveline was delivered on November 29th and it was installed that day (pictures coming). Chris finished street tuning and now has the car on the dyno (dynapack 43 AWD). We talked to Tracy Lewis and since the RX 4000 converter is a single disc, we will not be locking it up on the dyno. Expect results on Monday, December the 18th. I will be there in person recording some pulls and getting some pictures.
