Can I make these work

https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=529726 bought these from a camaro6 member. Tried to mount them today and they're tight against the caliper. I tried to pm him to see if he was using spacers but he hasn't replied yet. I'm hoping a 1/4 inch spacer will work?
The offset is +56 I figured if they worked on a 6th SS they would fit my 13.

Wheels I have for my drag radials have +40 back spacing. 16mm = 0.6” so you would probably need at least a 1/2” wheel spacer

I picked up some 1/4 in spacers at auto zone that's all they had. The guy told me they fit perfect on his 16 SS and I know several people have swapped 6th gen wheels on their 5th gens the only thing I can think is that our brake calipers are larger.
