Got the Z28 wrapped/Small shop plug/Not Black anymore - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Just wanted to throw this out there for anyone local to DFW area.. if you need custom work done, wrap, fabrication etc.. you need to go to Compton Design. They said they'll give any of my Camaro buddies a great deal on any work done, and their work is phenomenal.

Had SO many issues with my car because under 10 layers of wax, they found a really crappy Maaco paint job with spurts of Krylon black. Literally trash everywhere and no indication on any report when I bought it that there was accidents etc. Even used a shiny polymer on the door handles instead of clear coat which was discovered after being wiped with denatured alcohol and it melting into a sticky goo.

Even with running about 40-45 hours OVER original estimates, having to do some body work and having serious QC issues with the film, they honored their original quote (I paid them more to do some bodywork after we discovered all the issues) and their attention to detail, communication etc. is fantastic.

Car is mint. Color is Satin Canyon Copper with front splitter, fender flares, side skirts, roof and wing satin black. Really, really happy with it. Definitely an eye catcher now, more so than before and they added extra layers on all the trouble spots to help repel rocks etc from normal street, and track use.

I'll be at Cars & Coffee tomorrow at my wife's behest (she thinks they can't refuse me entry now) so if you want to come out and see it, please come say Hi!

Nice like that color reminds me a little of my Brazen orange GTO.

Excellent results. Everybody loved it. Possibly going to be the main feature in a youtube channel. And man, does the color pop in the sun!

Also, did a little change... ended up staying at the shop from 9PM to 4AM to finish up things and had a happy accident.. wrap was pulling up at the headlight edge so Clint cut a portion out to do an inlay for maximum adhesion... and I discovered I liked the look enough that we tried it. Complete throwback imo. See the pictures.
