Does anyone have any information about the Hurst Short-throw shifter? It was supposed to be available in the fourth quarter and I havent heard anything yet.

I'll predict that about 5 people will make a remark about using the search feature. (I guess that's my passive aggressive way of saying it too )

If I'm not mistaken, the latest word is that the one being offered by GM will be available in the the spring, but the after market one directly from Hurst has been available for about a month.

Yeah you can get it from aftermarket dealers now, if you want GM to sell it to you, then you will have to wait, and pay more LOL.

GM's shifter is about a 25% reduction in throw; the one you can now get directly from Hurst is a 40% reduction in throw. I just got it last saturday and can say it's a night and day difference from the stock shifter. Go to Hurst's website; the info is there and it's a great upgrade.

I agree, the one that you can get now is definitely a better option
