September 11, thank you Fire and Police!
So, it's a day early but I want to say thank you to ALL the fire and police people! Whether or not you live and work in New York. I personally know what you all have to do on a day by day basis. You all have to deal and put up with so much that the general public does not want to deal with or does not want to know about. Your pay and retirement is not as great as the public believes it is and you do not get the thanks that you deserve. You all are what help keeps the public safe!
So thank a cop or fireman not just on this day but when you see one, just like a vet new or old...shake their hand and say thank you for the things that you take for granted. Bill Baranowski |

that is why i put vet in there....ever shake an old mans hand that is a vet and tell them "thank you for all that you did" these are the guys that you see in walmart or really anywhere... they are usually wearing a hat that says were they have been. it takes a minute out of your day and means so much to them. I tell my son to do the same... we do it all the time. i have never seen a dry eye after saying thank you.....

Thanks baranowski, appreciate it!
Also, I too, shake the hand of just about every vet I see. Even on traffic stops, active duty, or retired, ticket issued or not (usually not), I shake their hand and thank them. True heros, all of them. And to those in NY, and surrounding areas, even more thanks. Watch your sixes tomorrow, and stay safe!!

I like to take this opportunity to pause, pray and remember all the victims who made the ultimate sacrifice, were injured, and their families. We, in Canada do not forget either, and stand by your side!
