I'm just awed by how often you guys trade out cars, and burn money. This gives me hope and an eventual logical argument for justifying my own future purchases. Thank you all, Erik

Keep the Vette, get the ZL1 too... I thought kids liked riding in the trunk / hatch area?

I will ready for a new car next summer. I have been thinking about waiting to see the new Vette. I was tempted to get a ZL1 but I new I would still want to get a Vette sooner or later. I was thinking Z06 but I have heard that they are not going to make it anymore. I don't think I need all the power of the ZR1 but it is very tempting. I'm going to wait to see what they come out with.

The production numbers of late model Z06s have also been very very low. I wish they could sell more, but the point is, hopefully they might hold onto their value a bit better than average. We'll see when I'm ready for a C7 performance model

(2) Performance models won't be out initially. Even the base convertible might not be released along with the coupe. Most rumors suggest that the performance models are another year away. (3) This gives you a good 2-3 years until you get good deals with the C7, which is when great minds should switch the car in my opinion |
