Techboxx out of those products which do you recommend to clean wax etc. off of your black plastics like the XM radio antenna and front grill?

When cleaning my engine compartment in my last vehicle I used to spray the whole engine bay down with Simple Green and agitate with a soft brush. Will that harm the plastics in the engine compartment?
