Good find. Some interesting perspectives. It does feel that with everything they are doing with the Camaro, GM is doing whatever it takes to keep hold over the blue oval boys. It does remain to be seen how long the Z/28 will remain in existence though, it could be for maybe 1 or 2 years, unless demand says otherwise.

i think the Z/28 is here to stay until the C7Z06 arrives
Z/28 for '14 and '15. Z06 for maybe 15 but probably 16 and if there is a ZR1 '17. Then by 16 the 6th gen camaro will be getting hyped so we as consumers need to have the next best thing will rush to trade in our babies to buy the faster/newer car. Get a couple of years of a base Camaro 6 then the ZL1/Z28 etc return a 5 year plan right now is 2018. The performance cars are creating hype and sales numbers still look pretty good. Can they keep the gravy train going? |

I suspect the Z/28 will last until the end of the 5th Gen, then take a short hiatus as they ramp up the 6th gen.
