Windsheild crack.dont want budget
Hey all, I have asked before but not much feedback.
I have a crack in my 2010 windsheild, insurance wil pay for a new one but so far have come out to me with a Chinese one,the after I turned that down they bought a genuine screen, but it was second hand and had scratches so politely told them to go away. I want a genuine screen, one screen fella I use can get one from the USA from one of his suppliers and he is told it is genuine. I understand the budget ones are FYG labelled. Anyone here deal in glass or can offer advice for me over here in new Zealand. Look forward to your comments. |

Insurance shouldn't come up with second hand or copied parts, if you pay for glass replacement as par tof your policy.
Tell them to get the real deal or you'll change insurance. |

Many insurance companies will cover the cost of a NAGS glass, but if you pay the difference, will put in OEM glass.
Or else ask if they can get Pilkington glass, that's who makes the OEM glass for Chevrolet. EDIT: Just saw you're in NZ. Guess I may not be much help anymore. Sorry. |
