Premium stereo system?
Any word if the new camaro will come with a premium stereo option like the new mustangs did? Hope it is some good quality speakers if they do. I get a little carried away with my music every now and then.

I wouldn't doubt if they offered a premium stereo system. They seem to do that with quite a few of their vehicles. I'm tossing in my JL 10 and 12 along w/ my JL amp and am hoping to keep it looking as clean and original as possible. I just hope the deck doesn't look like the stereo that's in the concept now. Just too wierd for me...

Boston Accoustics was mentioned as a system that may be in the Camaro. Down in Bowling Green last September at the F-Body Reunion we were asked if we wanted to stick with the current premium sound package or go with Boston. The overwhelming response was BOSTON. Will it happen? Who knows, but it would be very nice.

There will be a premium stero offered. But not sure what brand name it will be. They are using Bose and Pioneer right now in the cars and trucks.

Boston Acoustics would be about the only system that could begin to make me think about justifying the extra money on an upgraded stereo option.
For the money you typically pay for an upgraded option, you are usually MUCH better off buying your own components. You will get a system that sounds much better at a fraction of the price. If they offer BLOSE speakers, then I will definitely pass... I have never seen a company so masterfully develop and sell their products based off of a very deceptive marketing program. |
