Damn First Brotha to go down, i am hurt.
I know man, major bummer.

I drive on 18 every night for about 20 miles...every day there seems like a there is a new deer on the side of the road. Hopefully this is the last deer/car thing I have with this car. It could have been a lot worse I guess - but it could have been a lot better such as the deer become one second behind my car.

I'm taking it to the shop tomorrow.

If I hit a deer, I would not call the police unless the deer was lying there dying and needed put down. I had some damage caused the front of my car when a piece of steel flew up off the road and hit the car. I didn't have to "prove" anything, just an explaination and it was fixed, no questions asked. And they did a great job at matching the silver!

Good luck and sorry.. I HATE DEER!
If it makes you feel better I took care of 2 of pesky critters this weekend. And not with a vehicle.......

To the op, stinks man. Hope you get her back soon.

Brad - sorry to see your damage - my wife had a deer hit her G6 two years ago around this time and caused $8K worth of damage, took 30 days to repair the car. If your insurance provides for rental make sure you know how much per day & for how long. Let me know if I can be of any help.

Damn, and in the only panel that is impossible (without cutting and welding) to replace. Figures, why could he not run into the front fender!

Hope you get it fixed soon!

why is that panel impossible to replace? or just much harder to replace and expensive.

at least it does not look like there was not much paint damage

With a cutter and welding equipment, nothing is really impossible to replace. It is the hardest thing to replace, it does not come off with bolts like the front fenders, doors, and bumpers. It also goes all the way up the roof line and up to the front wind shield and is glue welded on.

That panel is impossible to replace because it covers the entire side of the car except the front fender. I attached a screen capture from the Ultimate Factories showing a robot holding that piece. Replacing the entire panel would be very hard (if not impossible) without pretty much redoing an entire side of the car.
