Tough Cars !

Only had our 2013 SS/RS for two weeks when a pick up pulled out in front of me on highway, Tboned him at 110 kmh (55mph). My foot touched the brake but do not think had time to engage. Total write off.

Tell you what though, inside the car / cabin / living space not a thing moved. Glove box still worked, firewall did not move a mm. Very impressed. Somewhat shook up still but happy to be alive! Shopping (slowly since it is winter up here) for a replacement

Most cars are very safe, even those sub compacts. A lot of money goes into the safety of vehicles. Glad you're ok and good luck with your next purchase.

Heartbreaking to see a Camaro in a pile of twisted metal...and after only 2 weeks! Glad you're ok. Best of luck with finding a new ride!

Here`s a thought, I`m not sure how the insurance companies work in Canada but you might to look into buying the car back from them. There`s probably a lot of expensive still salvageable parts like the drive train, wheels and tires for starters. Just a thought.

Being in Canada, did the car have DRLs?
Glad to hear that safety systems worked well.

That thing looks like really bad news could’ve accompanied the pic. Glad to hear you’re shopping for a new car, not a plot! Happy holidays!
