I daily drive mine with the mods in my signature. As long as you keep up with the normal maintenance you will be fine. Oh and make sure you know where the good gas stations are at. I tend to need a gas station quite often.

LOL! Ditto on that last statement. I do about 65-70 miles a day. Each day burns a quarter tank. The math is not pretty, but hey, it's worth it to me!

Used my 13 ZL1 for school driving, and weekend driving, consider not putting you foot and flooring it always, then your gas MPG will be below 10! LOL

Im at 15.3 MPG now , it dropped from 15.4 lol once i got this new round of mods, its just so temping to floor it and hear the engine whine and roar as you speed past on empty highways, even if the rush feels for a few seconds.

I know this was mentioned before, but I feel like it should be brought up again. Rear tires go out very quickly on this car due to how the camber and everything is set up. I got 13k out of my Goodyear's with 0 track days. Just wanted to make sure you are aware!

Love this car though, never had a car I look forward too and enjoy driving so much!

I tried a ZL1 convertible. It is a lot heavier than what I have been used to driving. So I sold it back and bought a Porsche 911. It's hard to match the handling and response of the Porsche, but the ZL1 is a better daily driver. It's handling is pretty decent and the ride with those GM shocks is far better, especially on crappy streets. Maintenance and repairs are a lot cheaper, too. The Porsche can get a lot better gas mileage, but you can buy a lot of gas for what an extended warranty costs for a Porsche.

Trust me, buy the ZL1 and enjoy it!
