Some V6es do not sound bad.

Different than a V8 but not bad.

Some V6es? Not so much:

I don't think anyone is saying that V6s sound bad. I think the argument here is that the V6 sounds great. It won't ever sound like the V8 because it isn't a V8, but no one can deny how threatening that V6 sounds.

I say again the Best sounding V6 is the Infinity G37x hands down, I heard a DI CTS and it sounds like a accord, not saying that's a bad thing though

I agree. The Nissan VQs sound sweet.

I hate to admit it, but it might be from the Renault influence.

Remember the Eagle Premiere/Renault Premiere/Dodge Monaco? Horrible piece of crap but the engine sounded great....when it ran.

Another good V6 was Chrysler's 440 6-pack great sound

It depends on the exhaust setup...we have some 350z's around here that sound terrible..

Agreed... exhaust setup does make a huge difference. But, in a way, exhaust setup is a lot about personal preference.

Dude.

Don't confuse the Bow-tie boys.

The 440 Six Pack was a RB Chrysler Big Block with three two barrel Holley carburetors. It had 8 cylinders. Just six venturis

...and yes, it was awesomeness!

To make our 6 sound even Better just get exhaust cutouts. Theres a thread about them in the V8 category.

How about a v6 with cut outs? I think that would sound pretty mean as well.

Thats exactly what I said, and what Im getting. I want 2 pairs. One at the downpipe for performance that opens at high RPMs and the other at the start of the catback right befor the mufflers the is controled by switch for scaring ricers adn beemers at red lights.

...Why not just save some cash and only go with the one at the down pipe, but make it manually controlled?

And why the hell would you want to scare a beemer?

Take a peek at the video entitled "Elie V6", it's the third thumbnail in.

I think THIS V6 sounds very much like a V8! (Not your V8; but you modified it, right?).
No Camaro V6 buyer has to suffer from "V8-sound envy" any longer.
I guess sound is like styling. Sounded like a bumble bee to me. Far far away from any v8. Now, the original posters video really surprised me. I thought it sounded great for a 6er.

The original posters car ISN'T a 6er....he was posing clips of his 8 in order to try and persuade people to buy an 8 instead of a 6.
