Damn!

I just ran out of Claxton Fruit Cake, the very best commercial Christmas cake in the whole wide world, and the local provider won't have any till November... I just may have to online-order...

Now that I think about it, this post should be fodder for some...

Years ago I had a boss that I just plain hated. He was very competitive with me and his other GM's. He bought us all fruit cakes and we thought are you kidding us??? Before I threw it away I tried it...it was awesome. That's my fruit cake story, hope you liked it.

LOL Pete... your post brings to mind a memorable movie line from Stripes.....

Captain Stillman: All right, soldier, let's see how you fire that mortar.
Soldier with Mortar: What coordinates, sir?
Captain Stillman: [annoyed] Coordinates?
Soldier with Mortar: Yes, sir, they determine where the mortar's...
Captain Stillman: Soldier, the army has spent a lot of money teaching you to fire that thing. Now set it and fire it.
Soldier with Mortar: Sir, we don't know where the shell's gonna...
Captain Stillman: Soldier. The only way to learn anything is to do it. Now fire the weapon

It's unfortunate that some Ford fans appear to be so insecure and blinded by dislike that they feel compelled to make denigrating posts on a Chevrolet oriented website.

Some Ford fans appear to be under the mistaken impression that the new ZL1 was designed with the intent of drag racing as its main application. In other words, it appears that they don't realize that the new ZL1 is not, and was not intended to be, a 1969 9560 COPO clone.

With that kind of thinking they may complain if a new Z28 doesn't have a DZ302 engine and an M21 transmission.
