We now have everything back together and are close to being done! Well, not quite!...

After working with the brakes and getting them bled over and over, we found that we were sent the wrong master cylinder and proportioning valve...Called and had them send me the one for disc/disc...I had the disc/drum...
Replaced them and still no pedal...called only to find out there is air in the lines...at the calipers on the rear....need to remove top bolt---slide caliper out and put the bleeders at 12:00...they say there is an air pocket above the bleeders...
I loaded fuel into the tank only to find out the sending unit was faulty...so off with the tank. I called Heartbeat City and asked if they had an original GM sending unit...They did and it is on it's way....I sure don't want to do this task again...One of the photos I posted on my FB page of me removing the 12 gallons of gas...one guy said it looked like I was giving my Camaro a colonoscopy...
It could be worse! So blessed and thankful for everything I have and the ability to do most of the work myself along with my son-in-law Clint Minglin and our Grandson Jackson Edward.....

Needed to update the work on "Baby Blu". Had some issues with the rebuilding of the 4 speed. Nothing that West Side Transmissions could not take care of! Now have it all back together with a new Flywheel, Clutch, Pressure Plate, Pilot Bushing and Throw out Bearing.

Now that I have everything back up and running as it should, and the brakes are doing exactly what they are supposed to do, it was time to take her to Hubbard GM Center in Monticello. She needed to have the front end aligned. Even before that was done, she drove like a new one should. Can't wait to get her home, put the hood back on her and wash-n-wax is then in order...
I will post some photos of the final product and pay tributes to all the vendors I purchased products from...Not to mention all the tech support that, after thinking about things (and not in the heat of the moment) did an outstanding job...

Baby Blu is now complete!

As I am done with the upgrades to "Baby Blu", I wanted to add a video of her doing what she does best.....turning heads with her sound and her looks....Lovin' the upgrades we now have done...power steering, 4 wheel disc brake conversion, new tubular front end with GA1 Motor Sports suspension along with completely detailing her underside from front to back...

Car cruise in this last evening. Mellow on the Market!..
Got her cleaned and ready to cruise. She performs so much better after her drive train restoration....
Handles better that when she was new!...

Those are great cars. Did that come with the GTO package? I remember Pontiac was changing up things back then for the 70's LeMans...

Don, this car is a 1971 LeMans Sport Coupe 350 w/TH350. I have installed the spoiler and GTO 2 1/2" stainless steel exhaust. I now have it restored front to back, ground up! She now goes to paint...same color. I will then install the new white interior!.. STOKED...
