You need to analyze the reason you want longer studs. If you need the significant strength increases, then the OE truck units are not for you.

Most guys run the longer wheel studs with smaller Corvette wheels with drag radials and what not. We did it on our shop car because the extra length of the stud made us that much more comfortable running the spacer. You can pick up the studs and the lug nuts from your local auto parts store.

Google "mustang wheel spacers". He machines his own stuff, so he could probably make GM parts as well.

Thanks for answering.
I solved the problem already, I bought the longer GM studs and so my 10mm spacer fits perfect.

How the hell do you get the rear studs out? Can't find a write up/diy. I've got the caliper and rotor off, but don't see how to get them out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You smack that bad boy with a hammer. Heavy hammer with light blows, make sure you go at it head on, not at an angle. You can youtube it if you really wanna see it done.

yes, I've done it before on my 97 Z-28, but didn't have the e-brake shoe setup that these SS's come with. That's what is throwing me off, it looks like there's not enough clearance to get the head of the stud in/out between the e-brake shoe and the back of the hub.

You have to take out the hub to replace the studs.

I was afraid of that. :(
So can you take the hub off without messing with the e-brake setup? Just undo the hub nut, the 3 bolts and it should slip out if I'm seeing this correctly?
